La Fête de la Musique
Amateur singers and musicians perform in a street-like atmosphere, with music that suits The Longest Day in the south.
Ensemble playing & singing
Work on your favourite music in small groups. Sing in the choir, a group or a band.
With professional guidance. Backline (PA, keyboard, rhythm) available. All day/week, or part of it if you prefer. Programme and schedule to be determined together on site. Trial performances at the end of the week, also outside the campsite.
String players, wind players and guitarists should bring their own instruments. There is plenty of room for individual preferences, so bring your favourite repertoire.
Experience needed?
Some experience is appreciated, but not required. Enthusiasm is important.
Creativity accelerates by diversity & challenges, so we pursue different nationalities, ballads to pop/rock and old&young (+13 years).
The group will be small (10-20), so lots of individual coaching can be given. Music-lessons cannot be expected.
Music-quiz, karaoke and music-movie can be there, to accellerate the atmosphere and the focus at music.
Because participants from different countries are being expected, the main language will be english.
Supported by our team
Three experienced singers, musicians & band coaches.
Inge Gammauf is a singer and pianist with excellent organisational and social skills.
Henry van den Broek is a passionate guitarist and jovial team player with a penchant for blues.
John Miltenburg is an experienced singer and conducts the choir. Meet Your Team
Singing and making music will be done in and from our home base: a circus tent in the woods. Vocal and guitar amplifiers, PA, keyboard and percussion available.
In the evenings, try-outs for (your own) audience can be given in the bar or on the terrace. We work towards informal performances at the end of the week.
