My name is John Miltenburg. I am a management consultant and got to like Creuse Nature years ago. My children felt happy there. Me too.
I loved to play the piano in the bar. Often other guests joined me there, bringing their instruments or singing.
In 2002 I started to announce to them and others in what week I intended to be there again. That was the start of Fields of Gold.
In 2003 Pieter van Leeuwen joined in as band coach and musical leader.
He is an experienced researcher and teacher of social professionals at a Dutch University in how to work with creativity and music.
He also likes to sing in choirs, play in bands and enjoys humor.
Some years later, Anke Kuiper joined in.
She is Pieter’s wife and could no longer resist when their children were grown up.
She is a piano teacher, plays the saxophone and is an experienced choirmaster.
She prepares the repertoire and leads the choir.

In 2018 Renske van Ebbenhorst joined in (Photo: left). She works with disabled children on music and theatre, is our sound-engineer, sings, plays (base)guitar and accordion and likes small baffling things.
Since 2020 Wim van der Zanden joined in. (Photo: right) He sings and plays stringed instruments and accommodates and assists music groups.
